HOPE® (Hereditary cancer Oncogene Panel tEst)

HOPE® analyzes germline mutations in cancer patients and their families to determine
the risk for hereditary cancer, and use this information to provide genetic counseling
about preventive measures, such as active surveillance, prophylactic surgery, etc.

What is HOPE®?

The cause of cancer is very different from chemicals, radioactivity, lifestyle, and so on.
However, in some cancers such as breast cancer, ovarian cancer, colorectal cancer and stomach cancer,
mutation of the innate gene is likely to cause cancer.

  • HOPE® detects pathogenic mutations from NGS (next-generation sequencing) data of 64 genes known to be related to hereditary
cancers and provides clinical solutions for genetic counseling based on the mutation information.
